Auth Methods

Username / Password (Default)

The Username / Password database is the default option. When your organization is created, at least 1 administrative user will be created, we refer to this user as the bootstrap user. While this is the default authentication method for your organization, it is not required. If you configure SSO, you will have the option to disable this authentication method.

Some organizations choose to adopt a multi auth method approach allowing for a high degree of flexibility for authentication.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

SSO allows users to log in using a single set of credentials managed by an Identity Provider (IdP) of your organization's choice. This is ideal for enterprises that manage multiple applications and services.

Note on Security: It is assumed that MFA is enabled and enforced by your SSO provider. We recommend ensuring that MFA is active to maintain a high level of security.
