Programs
Recovery Programs
Programs within the Recover Software allow you to configure settings around a particular asset recovery goal and group and track these efforts according to your needs.
A program could be structured by:
- internal processes like an employee separation
- internal structures like divisions or regions
- planned major refreshes like the decommissioning of an older fleet of assets
- different sub-brands, accounts, or customers
Return Requests
A return request is an object that records essential details about a device intended for return. Key components include:
- Serial Number: Unique identifier for the device.
- Make and Model: Information about the device's brand and specific model.
- Grade: Qualitative measure of the device's condition.
- Associated Recovery Program: Links the return request to a specific recovery program. This is mandatory for each return request as it determines how the return will be handled based on the associated recovery program's rules and policies.
Configurations
Configuration options within programs include defining user access, recovery method options that are available for end users, supported return-ready kit types, notification options, return destination for the program, and timelines.
Program Name - The program name is displayed throughout the platform as a selection and navigational option. For example, program names will be referenced when navigating between programs, configuring user access, or running an import of asset data. With that in mind, these should be meaningful for your team to identify a given recovery effort. If needed, program names remain editable at any time.
Start and End Date - These optional fields allow you to set a defined timeframe for the start and end of a given program. These settings do impact the end user’s ability to take action on provided Reco links, which would not be active prior to the start date or after the end date.
Program ID - This is a unique identifier generated by the platform and used to associate data and recovery actions with a matching program.
